Could anybody share opinions about Big Sky Resort in Montana? We are
considering the week of March 20th, 2006 (spring break for my son).
Comparisons to Snowmass, Colorado would be most helpful. My son is an
advanced intermediate skier, my wife and I are solid intermediate skiers.

Some of the things I am most interested in are: snow conditions at that time
of the year; lift lines, lodging recommendations, and anything else you
think would be helpful.

Thanks,
William

Hi,
For the most part you won't have to worry about any crowds
at Big Sky. The 15 person tram line will get crowded.
The snow conditions in March should be excellent.
You could hit late winter powder or sunny spring skiing.
Since it is pretty high in elevation, even warm march
weather won't ruin the snow up high.
Not sure what I'd recommend for lodging. There are lots
of condos within walking distance to the lifts.
Stillwater condos and Hill condos may be the cheapest,
but I don't really know.
I don't think I've ever met an out of towner that came to
big sky that was disappointed.
Hope this helps
